Why You Should Embrace Being Single And Travel

With all of the group and couple travelers out there on Instagram it seems like the thing to do right? What about those that are single but are afraid to do the solo travel route? Embrace it! Embrace being single and travel more often by yo-self!

As a women who is single, travels solo, and loves it, trust me it’s da bomb.com. Yes, I just used that phrase! It can be so empowering, liberating, and one of the most social experiences you have. When you travel alone you end up meeting so many more people than if you stick to your group.

Why Single Travel Is Da Best

  1. You can pick the destination
  2. Flexible to go whenever and wherever
  3. Don’t have kids to worry about (I love kids by the way)
  4. Just have to worry about your budget and income
  5. Take off of work or work while you travel
  6. Embrace being single or my new favorite term “Self Partnered”

Myths About Travel

Is it really lonely to solo travel?

Nope! Solo travel actually ends up being quite the opposite. You meet so many new people on your trip and make connections that you can do activities with. There’s also tours available to be with a group of people instead of by yourself. Another option is to stay in a hostel which has a more community type feel.
