How To Make Money And Travel

Traveling can be expensive if you don’t know where to look to save money. One of the biggest expenses is hotels.  Another downside to traveling is you might have to take off work and won’t be paid for that time off. What if I said there was a way to make money and travel at the same time. Yes there are ways to not only cut costs but make money while you travel. HOW??

Cheaper Lodging

If you have been living under a rock and don’t know what Airbnb is then it’s basically renting out a room or home that someone hosts. That means you could have an entire home to yourself and travel buddies cheaper than staying in separate hotel rooms combined! I have stayed in Airbnb’s all over the world and had great experiences. To name a few I have stayed in Airbnb in the US, Italy, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Caribbean. Each place was different but I was able to travel on a budget!

Now that there are different levels to Airbnb you can choose the type of experience and budget level you need. Make sure to look at reviews, do your research on the perfect area, and don’t be afraid to reach out to the host and ask questions. Airbnb now has Plus and Lux level for more expensive options to stay in. I haven’t needed to use either because the “normal” Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in have been great and right on budget! But like I said read the house rules, look at what the listing says which can matter when you really need air conditioning in a tropical country! How To Make Money Traveling

Use the Refer a Friend like it’s YOUR #1 tool! You can do this for many different sites and gain points or money to be able to use towards travel purchases. This is the easiest way to make money and travel at the same time.

Airbnb Refer a Friend will have a link in your settings that you can share with others to get $20/30 credit to your account per person that books a trip! This will allow you to “gift” them a monetary amount off their first purchase if they sign up. I use this when I refer Airbnb to gain credits myself.

Use your Travel Credit Card to Refer A Friend and get up to 10,000 Points per person that signs up for the credit card! You can use that towards flights, hotels, car rentals, you name it! Check out the perks of a travel credit card and how it can save you money by my article How To Save With A Travel Credit Card. it will talk you through all of the ways you can use it towards budget travel adventures!

Using Social Media

Use social media to share the links with more people. If you have a business account you can put a link in your bio. You can use resources like Linktree to be able to share multiple links in your bio at once. This allows you to connect your audience, friends, family, to the discounts and resources you USE to be able to make money towards your travels. I emphasize use because you definitely want to actually love these products to recommend them.

I only share what I personally have experience with, use, and love. Otherwise that’s just spammy and disingenuous.
