Top 3 Areas To Visit In Dallas

Dallas is one of the larger cities in Texas which means there is plenty to do! I will recommend a few great places and areas to explore plus some hotels with amazing views of the city! This post is about my top three favorite areas of Dallas to visit.

Downtown

Dallas is so large that you can find something to do anywhere you are. If you want to focus on the downtown area then there are many options. I can tell you it is NOT cheap but you get what you pay for.

If you are in need of some Relaxation time the Pink Toes Nail Bar is just the place! They have so many packages and their salon chairs have a back massager built in. Try not to fall asleep! haha

For some shopping, downtown is littered with high-end department stores and boutiques. Depending on what you are looking for you should be set if you want to drop some serious monies.

As for views… The Joule Dallas has several! I stayed here for a friend’s Bachelorette Party and the suite we had was beautiful with a view or two, the shops downstairs are convenient, and there is also a restaurant and bar to enjoy. If you are wanting to stay in Dallas with a large group this is great but make sure to confirm how many the room sleeps.

Uptown

Close to downtown Uptown is a great area to go out on the town! This area has MANY bars to choose from all with a different feel and aesthetic. One of my favorites is The Playground! In order to enter the bar, there is a hopscotch painted on the floor, swings to sit at the bar, giant Jenga, old-school arcade games, etc. This drink menu is amazing! For example, adult Caprisun, Kool-Aid, Tang, and the list goes on. This was my favorite stop in Uptown.

Addison

Addison is a growing part of the city that also has some amazing shops and bars to explore. Addison Circle is a great place to start and then explore from there. It’s not a particularly large part of the city and is about a twenty-minute drive outside of downtown. Even though you aren’t in downtown it still has a city feel and usually has events going on on the weekends. Check out this link for everything on Addison.

I hope that this post can give you a little bit of an idea on what areas to explore in Dallas! If you have any comments or questions feel free to reach out! Don’t forget to follow this site to keep you in the loop with post updates and more!
