Benefits Of Blogging For Beginners

For those interested in Blogging, thinking of starting one, or you’re a pro blogger yourself you should know how beneficial it can be. It’s not just an outlet for creativity or a way to share awesome photos. For me it’s a little deeper than that. Check out how blogging has helped me and the ways it can be beneficial in your life as well.

Getting Out Of Your Comfort Zone

We tend to create and then live in a little bubble aka your comfort zone. It’s so nice and cozy that we don’t like to leave it much. Sort of like sitting on the couch on a rainy day with a cup of coffee. It’s comfortable. While that sounds amazing you wouldn’t want to do that every day would you?

Getting out of your comfort zone challenges you to grow as a person. We all strive to be better versions of ourselves and blogging can definitely help with that. When you post on a blog like this one you have a voice, opinion, tips, some sort of insight that you then bring out into the world. That involves interacting with people all over the world who read the content. That can be a little scary but actually I love it! It shows how connected this world really is.

Community

Blogging or having an online business can seem like a lonely venture but it’s actually quite the opposite. I have found that the more you engage with people the larger your community gets. My online community is full of online entrepreneurs, social media influencers, social media marketers, business experts, etc. I found them through an online training I went through to help me grow my business. I’ve met a lot of them in person now and traveled with a few from time to time.

Engaging with your audience, joining a training program, solo travel, can all bring the possibilities of growing your online community. It really makes a difference doing it solo vs having people to bounce ideas off of and talk to. Not everyone in your life will be able to relate to what it is you do online and that’s ok. That is what your community is for!

Sharing Is Caring

Ultimately to start a blog you need an idea and can offer something that will benefit others. It’s not all about you now! I started my blog to share travel tips/hacks that I learned a long the way. I have had so many different experiences of what not to do or things I found off the beaten path that I knew others would love. It was struggling to find info on places that was also transparent in what it’s really like in each destination.

So I found that I was the gap. It can be something small that makes a difference in what you have to offer. And If writing is something that scares you don’t worry! It takes practice and a major tip to keep in mind is that whatever it is you post it doesn’t have to be perfect. There’s no such thing as perfect just procrastination .

Turn What You Love Into A Business

Not everyone is meant to live the same life so make one that fits you. If you don’t like your job or there isn’t one out there that’s what you want…create one! If Why not turn something you love into a job. And is it really work if you enjoy it so much? I love to travel and turned my advice and knowledge into a business. It’s can be that simple of an idea. With hard work and determination you can do anything.

And if you don’t know where to start I can point you in the right direction. The training I went through starts from scratch and is a one stop shop for all things social media + blogging + vlogging + community. Check out a little video on what we’re about here.

Mindset = Happiness

Mindset really does help you not just start a blog but sustain your passion and purpose long term. So many people will tell you no or you can’t do something but what makes a difference is if you choose to believe them or not. Honestly I didn’t even tell anyone I started a blog until I made the decision to turn it into a business. I wanted to protect my creativity and dream just for a little bit. Now of course it’s plastered everywhere because it’s something I am proud of.

If you want to wait until you get it off it’s feet do what you feel is right! Oh and don’t forget that it’s ok to feel scared. If your dreams don’t scare you they probably aren’t big enough!
