My Top 5 Packable Fitness Props

If you’re like me it can be difficult to keep up with a fitness routine when you’re traveling. For me that started to change when I packed these props hold myself accountable. And the best part is that all of my favorite fitness props are easy to pack in your suitcase or bag!

From ways to release, add more dynamics to your workout, or resistance. You can take one or all of these props with you on your next vacation!  I’ll go over each prop, what you can use them for, and where you can find them! Check out the list below.

#1 Small Exercise Ball

You can pack it flat and then inflate the ball when you get to your destination. The ball gives you the option for an added challenge, modifications, and a tool that you can use to be able create a dynamic exercise in the comfort of your hotel room. The ball comes with an inflation straw so you don’t have to pack a pump. It doesn’t take up space and if you’re planning on cramming as much as possible into your suitcase then I know every inch counts!

I will be doing some IGTV posts on what you can do with each prop but you can find the item by clicking on the picture.

#2 Resistance Band

A resistance band is going to make it easy for you to not only workout but get a good stretch in as well! You can use the band for full body exercises, isolate the arms, legs, core, rotator cuff, and legs stretches. Most resistance bands will come in a pack of three. All levels serve a purpose but I would recommend packing the medium strength. With the Medium strength you can usually do the most with it which makes it my personal choice.

#3 Favorite Hallow Prop

A Foam Roller can be used for release work to get out the “knots” in your myofascia. This could be an entire article or video but I will just explain what you can use it for on this one. My favorite roller is from Trigger Point because it’s hallow! That means that you can pack things inside of it without taking up any extra space in your luggage. With the shorter and packable roller you are able to stretch and release tension that will build up from long flights, sleeping in different beds, walking long distances, etc. I am always glad I pack mine after feeling stuck coming off of an international flight!

#4 Resistance Circle

The “Magic” Circle is another option instead of the blue ball. If you don’t want to bring a ball  then it would be a great one to fit flat in your suitcase. That’s the best part! It has the ability to tone arms, legs, Glutes, inner thighs, add a challenge for the core, and you can also use it to stretch. If you’re thinking you can also use it in place of the resistance band that’s an option but if you have really tight legs it wouldn’t be the most comfortable option to stretch with.

#5 Yamuna Ball

I don’t leave home without this ball! I mean it when I say that it has been an amazing tool to keep away low back pain, tight hip flexors, tight glutes and rotators. The Yumuna Ball I don’t use on everything like the roller, it’s mainly for hip release. It’s by far one of my favorite fitness props! Good thing is that it comes with instruction to guide you through how to use it and what to focus on. I could also do an entire video on this prop and might in the future but here’s where you can find ball and get started!

I love to travel but let’s be honest sometimes it can be a pain in the ass, literally! Just by taking along these packable fitness props on my travels it has helped my body to stay healthier. I am able to keep up with my fitness routine, stretch, and get the release work I need to keep away shoulder pain, low back pain, sciatica, shin splints, you name it.
